Usain Bolt announces 200m Bislett Games run in June


Usain Bolt has announced that he will run in the 200m at the Bislett Games in Oslo on 9 June.

The Diamond League meeting is the world champion's first confirmed meeting of the 2011 season after he struggled with an Achilles tendon injury during 2010.

"As this is a World Championship year, every meet is important to me in my build-up to defending my titles, " said the 24-year-old.

Bolt is expected to defend his 100m and 200m world titles this summer.

The world and Olympic record holder over both sprint distances had a forgettable 2010 campaign, suffering a rare defeat to fierce rival Tyson Gay in Stockholm in August.

Bolt conceded he was not fit and was struggling with back pain in addition to his Achilles tendon problem.
